The 1Malaysia concept cannot be successfully implemented if Malaysians do not have a strong patriotic spirit. If we do not love our country, it means we are still not ready to make sacrifices for our nation. 1Malaysia, as proposed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, calls on government agencies, non-governmental organisations and related parties to more strongly emphasise national unity and efficient governance. It is a principle that intends to guide and build a united and progressive nation. The concept is aimed at inculcating the spirit of togetherness and a sense of belonging among Malaysians, regardless of race, religion and creed.
Most of us knows about the aim this concept but they just knows it 'basically' and not really deeply enough especially among youngers. I think government should play their role more intensively in term to make all Malaysian have a good understanding about this concept.

Government must more harder and seriously to promote about concept 1 Malaysia.I think the best place want to make this concept successfully is at school. School is place for students learn about unity and patriotic spirit. If students cannot understand, learn and practice in school so difficult they want to use 1 Malaysia concept.

Ya i do agree with you. The best way is as early as since they're in kindergarten or primary school. At this stage children love to learn something new in their life but the learning process of this concept should be attractive as one of the way to attract their attention.

Beside promote from school, media such as newspaper, internet, radio and other must take part to promote 1 Malaysia. As we know media can inject the spirit of nationalism.

I agree with all of you. School is the best place to inculcate the spirit of unity and patriotism.This is because, school can educate the student about any ethnic in Malaysia. So, student can learn how to respect other ethnic from this.

In school, how we can understand the students to know deeply the concept of 1 Malaysia? I think, the government can put the modul or the content about 1 Malaysia in their textbooks, the programme, and anything that relate to 1 Malaysia at all. So,from there the patriotic spirit can be increase in students when they are in school.
